Bringing Essential Items To Maui’s Unsheltered
Bringing Essential Items To Maui’s Unsheltered
Volunteers are the life blood of ACCW! There are many ways in which people can volunteer. We are an island-wide ministry with a wide variety of volunteer options, some of which you may be able to do from home or very close to your home.
Volunteers from all Maui Episcopal Churches actively participate in ways such as stocking items for distribution, loading the van, making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, going out on scheduled runs, etc..
If you would like to be involved, complete the simple form at the right and we’ll be in touch to discuss possible ways you can help!
Our Care Van makes morning visits on the following schedule*:
TUESDAY – West Maui (Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kahana, Napili)
THURSDAY – Central Maui (Kahului, Wailuku)
SATURDAY – South Maui (Kihei)
On each run we provide a standard package of supplies consisting of hygiene products, non-perishable food items, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and a bottle of water. When available and upon request we may also supply clothing items, pet food, linens, towels, tarps, shoes, slippers, glasses and reading material.
*Van schedule is subject to change.
